‘Buttons and Bobby’ are ready just in time for whale season, with the finishing touches being made to the sculptures over the weekend.
Saturday Morning saw renowned South Australian artist Silvio Apponyi making the final carvings to the sculptures, with the whales being oiled later that Afternoon.
The sculptures are located on the grass area next to the Basham’s Beach carpark, with members of the public encouraged to check out the stunning work put in by all involved.
